FP-Pigments Oy is a Finnish entrepreneurial company that has developed and patented a wide range of high-performance specialty pigments for a variety of applications. The company possesses several patents and patent applications both on the products and production methods. Our pigments offer performance benefits and cost effectiveness in paints and coatings, paper and board, plastics, printing inks and other pigment -consuming industries.
Production of these materials has been thoroughly tested in the pilot and industrial scale in our plant in Finland, from which we are nowadays also supplying a large group of local customers in various industries. After the careful developmental phase and local industrial success, FP-Pigments is now moving further. Our vision is to become an established and relied player as well as appreciated partner for our customers on the global specialty pigment markets. Our highly skilled and customer-oriented personnel, with wide range of international business experience, have a key role in achieving these goals. Primary focus areas of FP-Pigments' business activities are Europe and the USA. The first phase of commercialization of our product range is the white opacity pigment. At the moment there are two production plants; one owned by FP-Pigments Oy in Valkeakoski, Finland, serving the local market and one owned by our fully-owned subsidiary FP-Pigments GmbH in Leuna, Germany, serving the global market. The new production technology developed by FP-Pigments gives unique characteristics to our products. As a result they introduce special properties to various applications, and can substitute conventional pigments with high value-added effect.
