HIGH OPACITY FOR SYNTHETICS

Impregnated and coated wetlaid nonwoven can be found in a multitude of applications where the end products are either partially or totally based on synthetic fibres: Secure and permanent documents, abrasive base paper, wallpaper base, to name a few examples. In order to maximise the opacity in such applications, you can use either our TiO₂-containing composite pigment FP-860XB or our TiO₂-free options FP-365 (dry) and FP-365X (slurry).

FLAME RETARDANT SOLUTIONS FOR COATED NON-WOVENS

Halogen‑Free Coating Pigment: Our innovative coating pigment is designed to bring both safety and high performance to your coating formulations. Our products are completely halogen‑free and delivered as a ready‑to‑use slurry, it is easy to use with various binders. This makes handling simple and ensures smooth processing.

Exceptional Opacity, Brightness & Coverage: Our specialty pigment consists of rhombohedral crystals agglomerated into optimized spherical structures. This tailored morphology maximizes light scattering, resulting in a high‑performance coating with excellent coverage, improved surface quality, and bright visual appearance.

Built‑In Flame‑Retardant Performance: Our slurry pigment grades also offer inherent flame‑retardant functionality. They enhance fire safety in coated materials without sacrificing easy processing or coating properties. Two optimized products are available, with built-in ATH (Alumina Trihydrate) or MGH (Magnesium Hydroxide) functionality, to suit different performance levels and end-use requirements.

Customer oriented approach: For customers seeking a fully integrated flame‑retardant coating solution, we collaborate closely with our sister company CH‑Polymers, experts in specialty coating binders. Together, we provide a complete, ready‑to‑use system that simplifies implementation and delivers reliable, high‑quality fire‑retardant performance.
